Holistic Solutions
A think tank established for the creation of “closed, holistic systems.”
Goals and Organization of the Holistic Solutions Think Tank
*The following is not the original 'Goals and Organization of the Holistic Solutions Think Tank' (March 2013), but is a rewrite as of 2014 with the same essential elements and with the charter of the original document.
The Holistic Solutions Think Tank is for the promotion of its proposals and their implementation, so to assist in the promise of the creation and maintenance of "closed, holistic systems," for the nation, and the world. While the United States may take a headstart in launching the proposals of the think tank, perhaps even in a matter of months from the adoption of the proposals, progress made by the United States may, and may already be, adopted by, and adapted to, nations of the world, at their will and according to their socioeconomic destiny, the adaptation of the think tank's work to any country's needs. The hope is too that the United Nations works with the HSTT in order to promote the think tank's proposals internationally, and officially, and perhaps after one or several summits of world leaders, in accordance not only to international law and open diplomatic circles, but potentially, including, too, proposed UN reform, including the HSTT proposed nine region Security Council, with a majority vote.
The Holistic Solutions Think Tank is organized to promote its proposals, and to, on an ongoing basis, produce additional reports and analysis for the creation and maintenance of existing, and newly, established, "closed, holistic systems," in the field areas.
The think tank will feature a 'panel of consultants' versus a traditional board, free for all to join and contribute to, with the purpose of having on it people from and representing all field areas, and with any education level, from the GED candidate to the person who has attained one or multiple PhDs. It is meant for everyone who seeks to participate and to benefit everyone and can grow to be as large as it will be, including with participants from around the world, and internationally, potentially to be connected to affiliate think tanks around the world.Members of the panel, on a voluntary basis, would have multiple opportunities to provide feedback for or introduce ideas toward HSTT proposals, and ultimately approve the proposals, and supporting reports and analysis, with a final consideration that is made by sitting experts on the particular topic of a proposal, report or analysis, who together with the Director then sign on the dotted line that the think tank's criteria for the creation and maintenance of only holistic systems is met at this starting point.
Experts may or may not have attained to a graduate or doctorate level degree, but may in any case have remarkable insight and understanding they uniquely have honed and bring to the discussion. They may through their involvement, independentally, hopefully also find certification or a university degree to their benefit.
Individual and group systems via the organization of mini-closed, holistic systems of and by panel members, could manifest or be realized through congeniality between panel members, separate from the think tank's mandates, but inspired by the goals and organization of the think tank panel, as a result of the coming together of the people ascribing to membership of the panel, and again toward maintaining "closed, holistic systems."
The Director will as much as possible reach out to and talk with panel members to ensure their perspective about the contents of proposals, reports and analysis, is heard and understood, and regarding how best to help produce the full adoption of the well-rounded ideas of the think tank.
All panel members will therefore, with the establishment of the think tank, be able to provide feedback on each and every officially-sanctioned HSTT proposal and commissioned HSTT publication, and using online portals and forums, and regularly scheduled teleconference meetings, with quarterly meetings people attend in-person, if able to commit to attending a conference for minimum possible fees.
Voting amongst panel members will also take place annually to ascertain what kind of tree management structure might become necessary simply to manage the numbers of members, each with an equally important and valued voice.Headquarters for the think tank is expected to be in Washington, DC, while there may be satellite offices in the near future, and quarterly meetings will most likely be held in the US Capitol.
There will be a small staff that maintains the think tank headquarters or office. The headquarters will house a director, a production operations and accounts manager, a lawyer, a management consultant and a coordinator.
Each staff member would act as a liaison of the ideas of the think tank, communicating the ideas of the think tank at strategic meetings with politicians, business people, health professionals, educators, scientists and members of the humanities community.
There would be regular press conferences and think tank meetings to report on the progress of the organization and in order to promote it.
The think tank's operating budget will be made public, including the specified use of its dollars, via its website. Investors and governmental dollars which support and pay for the operations of the think tank will be solely used toward the Goals and Organization of the Holistic Solutions Think Tank.
